atex inspections ltd are a specialist inspection company. We deal solely with the safety of hazardous area electrical installations in oil refineries, chemical plants, LNG plants, offshore installations and anywhere that a potentially explosive atmosphere could exist. The company was set up in response to the growing demand for hazardous area inspections created by Atex 137 which became law in the UK on 1st July 2003.

We have just completed our biggest contract todate, inspecting the giant BONGA FPSO (floating production, storage and off-loading) 100km off the coast of Nigeria for SHELL. It took 6 inspectors one year to complete.
We are explosion protection experts and all our inspectors are COMPEX certified.
